I can offer a hands on session for your beavers to explore different experimental stations in order to achieve their experiment activity badge.

These stations typically include: 

Magnets: investigate which items are magnetic.

Air pressure: experiment with the tornado tubes and Cartesian divers.

Chemistry: Make a volcano erupt or make slime.

Plants: learn what seeds need to grow before making and taking home a seed house.

Colour mixing: glasses, colour wheels, liquids, chromatography flowers.

The Human Body: meet Boris the skeleton, look inside our bodies with the interactive T-shirt and listen to you heart  using  a stethoscope..

Alternatively, you may prefer a themed session such as a harry potter potions class or superhero science.  The beavers can also complete the requirements for their badge during these sessions.

To complete their badge beavers will need to make predictions and discuss their findings.  Ask me about achieving the British science association CREST award.
