Ideally this badge needs running over a couple of sessions. The cubs complete 6 activities covering the reactions, interacting with energy and living things sections of the scientist activity badge.
The cubs set up their experiments and make predictions and then we collect and record our results the following week. The cubs are provided with 'lab' books in which to write up their experiments.
Some of the clause can be achieved during a themed session. Ask me about achieving the British science association CREST award.
